Welcome to Sea & Ski Realty’s 2022 Calendar Photo Contest!

Grey County is such a picturesque area.  We have all pulled over on the side of the road to take that breathtaking sunset photo so, what better way to share your favourite photos than through a calendar that is distributed to over 11,000 homes across all of Grey County!

Winter Contest Period

Entry Period: February 1st – February 19th, 2021
Voting Period: February 22nd – March 1st, 2021

Spring Contest Period

Entry Period: May 3rd – May 21st, 2021
Voting Period: May 24th – May 31st, 2021

Summer Contest Period

The winner of the Sea and Ski Realty Annual Photo Contest will be featured in our 2022 calendar which will be widely distributed among our 5 service areas (Grey Highlands, Chatsworth, Meaford, West Grey, and the Town of Blue Mountains). In addition to recognition in the calendar and having their photo featured in the calendar, the winner will also receive their choice of a $100 gift card to either Justin’s Oven, The Kitchen, or Walter’s Falls Inn & Spa. The winners will also, of course, receive a 2022 Calendar!


Please note: Prize winners will be determined after each voting period has closed, as set in the Rules & Regulations. Calendars will be mailed out to all winners in late November 2021. Rules & Regulations

Please read the below forms. If participating in the contest, the Rules & Registrations Form must be read, as well as the Registration Form filled out (online or print) which then needs to be sent along with your photo submission for it to count as a valid entry. The online form sends automatically, only the print form needs to be scanned and attached in addition to the photo in an email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I submit?
A: To submit your photo, you must email the photo along with your completed and signed Registration Form to [email protected] permitting you are eligible as outlined in the Rules and Regulations. If using the online form option, it will send automatically and therefore does not need to be included in the submission email with your photo(s).
Q: What kind of photo can I submit?
A: To qualify for the contest, submit a photo from any one of our 5 serviced areas (Grey Highlands, Chatsworth, Meaford, West Grey, and the Town of Blue Mountains). Photos must be landscape orientation, high quality, taken at a minimum size of 2550 x 1700 or higher, sharp, and in focus. Can’t find your photo resolution information? Click here for a guide on how to find this info. Images will be pre-approved by a panel of judges before they are posted to social media for voting. Photos can be of landscapes, nature, buildings, and wildlife including animals. We love seeing popular landmarks of the area including Hoggs Falls, Walters Falls, Old Baldy, and The Bruce Trail.  Get creative around the holidays and send us your best themed images! Who doesn’t like seeing the world from a different perspective? Done photos are welcome and appreciated!

Q: How are votes counted?
A: Votes are counted through a third-party app called Polls For Pages. Votes are tallied in real-time.
Q: How long is the contest open?
A: The contest has 4 different entry and voting periods to capture photos from each season.

WINTER Entry: February 1st – February 19th, 2021 & WINTER Voting: February 22nd – March 1st, 2021

SPRING Entry: May 3rd – May 21st, 2021 & SPRING Voting: May 24th – May 31st, 2021

Q: Is there a fee to participate?
A: There is no fee to participate, however, we require a registration form including a photo release form to be submitted in conjunction with the photo.
Q: Who gets one of the calendar pages?
A: There are 4 pages to win (one per season). Public voting of the submitted photos will determine each winner.
Q: If I win, what happens next?
A: If you win one of the 4 spots, you will be contacted directly via email by a Sea & Ski Realty Team member regarding photos and photo quality. A high-resolution version of the winning photo must be provided by the agreed-upon date to be included in the production of the calendar. If your image does not meet the resolution requirements, or you do not provide a high-resolution version of your image by this time, your spot will be given to the runner up.
Q: Can I be disqualified?
Sea & Ski Realty reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of a person or people in a photo. All submissions are subject to approval upon being posted and must meet minimum photo quality/size requirements.
Q: What will Sea & Ski Realty do with my entry once it has been uploaded?
A: By agreeing to the waiver, you will also acknowledge and give permission to Sea & Ski Realty to use your name, story, and photo entered in future various publications and materials, including the 2022 Sea & Ski Calendar.
Q: How do I vote?
A: Voting will take place on Facebook and directly on our website. Come back daily to vote. Limit 1 vote per day. It is encouraged to share your photo once voting has opened to get family and friends to vote for your photo and increase your chances of winning.
