With 2020 being a year for the books and with Christmas looking a little bit different this time around, the Grey Highlands Chamber of Commerce came up with an amazing way to keep the Christmas spirit alive.
On Saturday November 28th, the static Christmas parade was hosted at the Markdale arena parking lot. Floats were beautifully decorated by both businesses within the community and even members of the community just wanting to take part in this festive and fun event.

Over 300 vehicles filled with excited families drove the parade path waving to each of the 15 static floats anticipating the final float where they could see Santa. The Christmas festivities didn’t end there though. Right around the corner, our team from Sea & Ski Realty was set up at Town Square taking Photos with Santa. Not only was it a big success with over 45 families signing up, but the amount of joy it brought to people’s faces by keeping this holiday tradition of photos with Santa alive was the real success.
