At the 4th annual golf tournament fundraiser for the Markdale hospital, the community came together and had a fantastic time! It was a fun day with lots of people playing in contests to support the hospital. Even though it looked like it might rain, the weather stayed nice, and everyone enjoyed themselves. There was yummy food for lunch and dinner, and people not only loved playing golf but also knew they were helping the hospital. The event showed how strong and caring the community is when they come together for a good cause.

Our online auction was a huge success, raising much-needed funds for the Markdale Hospital. It was an exciting event featuring a wide array of items, from sports tickets and wine tastings to ski passes, dining experiences, and getaway packages, among many others. The community’s enthusiastic participation and generous bids made it possible for us to support the hospital and its essential services. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed to making this auction a triumph for healthcare in Markdale.

All the money we raise from this year’s Golf Tournament will go towards helping the Centre Grey Hospital in Markdale. We’re really grateful to be able to organize this event again and support such a wonderful charity.

The Centre Grey Health Services Foundation does a lot of good for people in our area. They provide essential services like 24-hour emergency care, hospital treatment, palliative care, endoscopic procedures, diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, and laboratory services. Unfortunately, the government doesn’t give enough money for hospital equipment, furniture, and technology. That’s why the CGHSF relies on donations from the community to raise $500,000 each year, making sure the hospital can work smoothly. Thanks to the generosity of our community, our doctors, nurses, and technicians have the right tools to provide top-notch healthcare when people need it most. We can’t do this without your help.
